Yoga Instructor/ Owner

KIM CRITCHLEY  E-RYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP

Kim attended her first yoga class in a church basement in Cedar Rapids, Iowa 30+ years ago. Since then, Kim has practiced yoga with many different teachers and experienced several varying styles of yoga.

She and her husband David settled in Metter, Ga in 2009 where she once again began her search to find a yoga studio to attend regularly. Getting back into a regular practice led to the decision to attend a 200 hour teacher training in Tempe, AZ, so she could bring her love of yoga to Metter!
Kim began her training at Yahweh Yoga led by Courtney Chalfant and DeAnna Smothers, learning to teach from a Christian perspective. Returning to Metter with her RYT200, she opened Kindred Yoga & Wellness LLC in downtown Metter with the help of her sister and fellow yogi, Sandi Ferguson.
Continuing her education and practice of yoga, Kim received a RYT500 from Asheville Yoga Center. She also received training in Kids Yoga, Y12SR (yoga for recovery) and Trauma-informed Yoga during her AYC studies.
Kim strives to help others find comfort in their own bodies and become aware of the connection between body, mind and spirit. She loves to weave peacefulness, gratitude and compassion into her classes.

TREAT YOUR BODY

With the honor it deserves.

Christians and non-Christians alike can be heard referring to their physical body as a “temple”.   Caring for our bodies is important! Whether your inspiration stems from the knowledge that God has given you this one wonderfully made body (Psalm 139:14), that is the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16) or simply acknowledging that you have one miraculous body, and caring for it will surely benefit your quality of life.
